Less than 10 minutes south and just across the beautiful Manatee River from our RV resort in Palmetto, the understated city of Bradenton offers a little bit of everything. Featuring pristine beaches such as Bradenton Beach and the beloved Anna Maria Island, Bradenton also boasts award-winning restaurants, breweries, and nearby outlet shopping. Sports enthusiasts can take in a Pittsburgh Pirates spring training game at LECOM park as they play other famous major league teams like the Marlins, Red Sox, and Blue Jays.

Perhaps one of the greatest gems you’ll discover when living at Fisherman’s Cove RV Resort is the nearby Anna Maria Island. A true gem of the Sarasota-Bradenton area, this barrier island consists of seven miles of largely undeveloped white sand shoreline that include the pristine Bean Point, Holmes Beach, and Coquina Beach. Endless opportunities await for biking, kayaking, snorkeling, and dolphin boat tours. You can also stroll the quaint, laidback downtown area lined with galleries, restaurants, and mid-century bungalows. Continue north from St. Petersburg about 15 minutes and discover all the city attractions of Tampa. Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, and historic Ybor City are just a few of the draws of this bustling hot spot. Sarasota County is also home to some of the most dazzling shorelines in the nation, including Lido Beach, Caspersen Beach, and Siesta Beach.
