Fisherman’s Cove RV Resort in Palmetto, FL, is situated along Florida’s stunning Gulf Coast near popular cities and attractions. Although our resort is quiet and secluded on the shores of Terra Ceia Bay, we’re just 5 minutes from I-75! This major interstate quickly connects you to numerous cities with a variety of unique cultures, festivals, entertainment, attractions, museums, restaurants, shopping, and more. Cities such as St. Petersburg, Bradenton, Sarasota, and Anna Maria Island are all within 25 minutes. Downtown Tampa is also close; just 45 minutes to the north.

Less than 10 minutes south and just across the beautiful Manatee River from our RV resort in Palmetto, the understated city of Bradenton offers a little bit of everything. Featuring pristine beaches such as Bradenton Beach and the beloved Anna Maria Island, Bradenton also boasts award-winning restaurants, breweries, and nearby outlet shopping. Sports enthusiasts can take in a Pittsburgh Pirates spring training game at LECOM park as they play other famous major league teams like the Marlins, Red Sox, and Blue Jays.

Perhaps one of the greatest gems you’ll discover when living at Fisherman’s Cove RV Resort is the nearby Anna Maria Island. A true gem of the Sarasota-Bradenton area, this barrier island consists of seven miles of largely undeveloped white sand shoreline that include the pristine Bean Point, Holmes Beach, and Coquina Beach. Endless opportunities await for biking, kayaking, snorkeling, and dolphin boat tours. You can also stroll the quaint, laidback downtown area lined with galleries, restaurants, and mid-century bungalows. But no matter how you spend your time on Anna Maria Island, be sure to take in the sunset at the edge of Anna Maria’s iconic fishing pier.

Tampa

Continue north from St. Petersburg about 15 minutes and discover all the city attractions of Tampa. Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, and historic Ybor City are just a few of the draws of this bustling hot spot. Wander along Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa and take in the views of the Bay, then sample from any of the nearby eateries and shop in Hyde Park.

Sarasota is situated less than a half-hour south of our RV resort in Palmetto, Florida. Sarasota is a true paradise for anyone who loves fishing, boating, or simply taking in the open water. Sail, motor, or paddle to one of the area’s many premier fishing spots like Longboat Key and Siesta Key. If you’d rather have your feet on dry land, tour the area’s many historic fishing piers. Sarasota County is also home to some of the most dazzling shorelines in the nation, including Lido Beach, Caspersen Beach, and Siesta Beach.

You can even check out the famous Skyway Fishing Pier State Park, located across the Bay from our RV resort.
