It goes without saying that not everyone in your group will enjoy the same activities, so a resort with a diverse selection of amenities is a good place to start. Also, when vacationing with children, it’s especially important to choose a resort where certain days can be spent relaxing, playing, and exploring without ever leaving the property!
At Fisherman’s Cove, you’ll find a little something for EVERYONE in your group, whether young or old. Below, you’ll find a generous variety of amenities that can be enjoyed from sunup to sundown!
Guest Amenities
As a guest at Fisherman’s Cove, you’ll enjoy access to all of the following amenities and more:
- Expansive waterfront pool (climate controlled)
- Jetted hot spa
- Spacious 2-story clubhouse; full kitchen, large TV lounge area, vending machine area
- Well-stocked game room
- Private boat ramp
- 375 ft private fishing pier (24 hours) with fish cleaning station and night lighting
- Resort kayaks & paddleboards*
- Bayside putting green
- Full fitness center
- Outdoor Tiki hut with BBQ kitchen
- Pickle ball court
- Large outdoor pavilion for group dinners or gatherings
- Community dog run with nighttime lighting
- Centralized comfort station with modern restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facility.
- Walking paths beneath towering oaks
- Beautiful sunsets over the Terra Ceia Bay. Hint: Dolphin’s swim close to shore most often during sunrise and sunset.
On days you would like to venture outside of the resort, you’ll find a plethora of fun places to explore!
*Resort kayaks and paddleboards are complimentary on a first come, first serve basis. If you wish to ensure availability for a scheduled group or family paddle, you should reserve paddle sport equipment with a rental company. With advance notice, many will deliver your equipment rentals to the resort on the day of your trip.
Handicap accessibility
Our resort restrooms, showers, laundry facility, clubhouse, game room, fitness center*, pool area, Tiki hut, outdoor BBQ kitchen, private fishing pier, and pickleball courts are wheelchair accessible. We also have a handicap lift for our climate-controlled pool.
*At this time, we do not have fitness equipment that is modified to accommodate specific physical disabilities.

Discovering Nature
Fisherman’s Cove is part of 29,000 acres of contiguous aquatic preserve in South Tampa Bay. Watch this video to see some of the nature you’ll experience while paddling around! Our beautiful cove is located directly on shores of Terra Ceia Bay. The bay waters remain notably calm making it a great venue for family excursions by kayak or for 1st-time paddleboarders.
